Terms of Use

Following are the terms and conditions that apply to use of this site (http://www.targetgoa.com/ and all sub sites that reside under the site (collectively referred to as "sites”), by “you”, the subscriber who accesses or creates an account to use or access the sites. Target Goa may change the content and specifications of the site from time to time, including adding fees and charges for use. It is your responsibility to check the Terms of Use periodically. Your use of this site after reading the updated Terms of Use indicates your acceptance of said terms and that you agree to be bound by any such revisions

Keep your contributions civil, tasteful and relevant

No defamatory comments. A defamatory comment is one that is capable of damaging the reputation of a person or organisation. If successfully sued you could be held liable for considerable damages and costs.
• Avoid contempt of court which means not posting anything that risks prejudicing on-going or forthcoming court proceedings.
• Do not incite people to commit any crime, including incitement of racial hatred.
• Do not post content which you've copied from someone else and don't own the copyright.
• Do not post messages that are unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, homophobic or racially offensive.
• Do not make multiple postings. So that we can publish comments from as many different people as possible, participants should keep their number of contributions per debate to a reasonable level. Multiple posts from one individual, or small number of individuals, discourages many others who might otherwise wish to take part.

More rules

These rules are important for your own safety, the safety of others and to avoid causing offence. Violation of these rules may result in suspension of your membership.
• No swearing. People of all ages read and contribute. Please don't use profanities or other words which might offend them.
• No spamming or flooding. Don't repost the same message, or very similar messages, more than once.
• No personal information. It is not acceptable to publicise your or anyone else's contact details including address, place of employment, name of educational establishment, telephone or mobile number, email address, etc. This is for your own safety and that of everyone who uses this service.
• Keep your posts relevant. Each thread on Forums is debate over a particular story or issue of the day. Posts which aren't relevant lower the value of the debate for everyone and may be removed.
• No advertising, promotion of products or services, or posting of web links (URLs).

• Post in English only. Posts containing languages other than English may be removed. Common greetings and salutations in languages other than English may be acceptable.
• No capital letters. This is internet shorthand for raising your voice. You can make your point perfectly well in lower case so please take the caps lock off.
• No impersonating. Impersonating someone (including other members) is unacceptable.
• No inappropriate usernames (vulgar, offensive, etc).
• Abusing the complaints system. Please don't abuse the complaints system. It exists to enable visitors to alert the Moderator about content which breaks the above rules. Please do not use the complaints system to alert us to multiple postings, spelling mistakes and so on. Anyone who abuses the complaints system repeatedly may have their account suspended.


Copyright

The sites are owned and operated by Target Goa ("the Company"). They contain content which has been contributed by The Company, various third party agencies and other sources, which is protected by international copyright and trademark laws. You will not modify, copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit or distribute in any way any content from any of these sites including code and software, unless specifically authorised through letter or email by The Company. Requests to republish Target Goa Sites material for distribution should be addressed to Target Goa Syndication Services at email tgss@targetgoa.com .

By using the sites, you agree to comply with all of the terms and conditions hereof. You will be responsible for your user name or password. You will ensure that use of the account is in keeping with these Terms and Conditions.

You will use the Target Goa Sites for lawful purposes only. You will not post or transmit any material which violates the rights of others, which is unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, vulgar, obscene, profane or otherwise objectionable, which would constitute a criminal offence. You will not issue any advertising or any solicitation regarding any products or services. You will not use Target Goa Sites to solicit users to become subscribers of other on-line information services competitive with the Target Goa Sites. Target Goa Sites contains copyrighted material, trademarks and other proprietary information; including, text, software, photos, video, graphics, music or sound, and the entire contents of Target Goa Sites are copyrighted under applicable copyright laws.

You may download copyrighted material for your personal use only. You will not change or delete the author’s name, trademark legend or copyright notice. By these agreeing to these Terms and Conditions you acknowledge that you do not acquire any ownership rights by downloading copyrighted material.

You will not upload or post copyright protected information on the Target Goa Sites. If you do, you will be guilty of infringement of copyright law and will be solely liable for any damage resulting from this act. Any material submitted to the Target Goa sites automatically becomes the property of The Company to use anywhere and in any manner The Company sees fit.

You may not use the site in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair any Target Goa site’s server, or the network(s) connected to any Target Goa sites server, or interfere with any other party's use and enjoyment of the sites. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any other accounts, computer systems through hacking, password mining or any other means. You may not obtain or attempt to obtain any materials or information through any means not intentionally made available through the Target Goa sites.


Trademark
Target Goa, www.targetgoa.com and/or any other trademarks and trade names being shown or used on the Target Goa Sites are the property of their respective owners.

Interactive guidelines

Target Goa provides space for exchange of ideas, criticism and healthy debate, where subscribers to the sites will interact and exhange views with each other. You must accept that this content will not necessarily be accurate or even honest and its quality in form and content cannot be guaranteed. By using such services you may be exposed to objectionable matter. We will try our best to filter out the same.

In using message boards and blogs and other interactive forms of communication on the Target Goa Sites you agree not to upload, post or otherwise spread content or views which are defamatory, abusive, obcene, racial, hateful, discriminatory or otherwise objectionable. You will not indulge in cyber stalking or make a nuisance of yourself on the site.


Monitoring
The Company shall have the right, but is not obliged to monitor the content of all interactive communication on Target Goa Sites, to users’ compliance.with these Terms and Conditions and any operating rules of The Company, or any authorized Government request. The Company shall have the right in its sole discretion to edit, refuse to post or remove any material submitted to or posted on Target Goa Sites. Target Goa will have the right to remove any material that in its sole discretion, finds to be in violation of the Terms and Conditions or otherwise objectionable.

Termination
Target Goa reserves its right to refuse service, restrict, suspend or terminate your account. Target Goa reserves the right to refuse, move or remove any content or image at any time and, remove or edit contents or cancel orders (entered by you) in its sole discretion with or without cause, and with or without any prior notice for any violation of the Terms of Use. Upon such termination or suspension, you will cease to have any right to use the Target Goa Sites.

You can also terminate your account at any time but your information may remain stored in archive on our servers even after the deletion or the termination of your account.


Third Party Content
When it comes to Third Party Content, Target Goa is a distributor of content supplied by third parties and subscribers. Target Company has no extensive editorial control over such content. Any opinions, advice, statements, services, offers, or other information or content expressed or made available by third parties, including information providers, subscribers or any other user of Target Goa Sites, are those of the respective author(s) or distributor(s) and not of the Company. The accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any content, its merchantability or fitness cannot be guaranteed.

The Company will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by information obtained through the Target Goa Sites. It is your responsibility to evaluate the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any information, opinion, advice or other content available through Target Goa Sites. Please seek the advice of professionals, as appropriate, regarding the evaluation of any specific information, opinion, advice or other content.

This Agreement shall be construed in accordance with the laws of India and courts in Goa shall have the exclusive jurisdiction to entertain and try any dispute arising out of or in relation to this Contract. No waiver by either party of any breach or default hereunder shall be deemed to be a waiver of any preceding or subsequent breach or default.

Message Boards
Bulletin boards and Message Boards for feedback to the Company provide for real time interaction between users. The Company does not control the messages, information or files delivered to bulletin boards. Any opinions, advice, statements, services, offers, or other information or content expressed or made available by third parties, including information providers, subscribers or any other user of Target Goa Sites, are those of the respective author(s) or distributor(s) and not of the Company. The accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any content, its acceptance or fitness cannot be guaranteed.


Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its affiliates and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from and against all claims and expenses, including attorney's fees, arising out of the use of Target Goa Sites by you.

Privacy
Target Goa sites are maintained by Goa Cyberworks Pvt Ltd. We can be reached by e-mail at feedback@targetgoa.com.

Any personal information id is asked for explicitly in the relevant page on the Target Goa Sites. Personal Information is used to operate the Target Goa Sites, and we may occasionally inform you of new features, services, and products from Target Goa.

We may place a text file called a "cookie" in the browser files of your computer. The cookie will enable the Target Goa Sites to relate your use of the Target Goa Sites to information that you have specifically and knowingly provided to the Target Goa Sites.
