Margao Basketeers champs of All-Goa YMCA Knights Basketball tournament

In the final match held at the Porvorim Basketball Court, Margao Basketeers defeated KJs, 41 -36, in an exciting match.
Earlier Margao Basketeers earned their place for the final encounter after defeating the host team YMCA Knights, whereas the KJs defeated Spacers. Daley Fernandez from the Margao Basketeers dazzled the fans and his opponents alike with some skilful shooting and smart defending. He alone accounted for 17 points supported by Spencer Viegas with 12 points. For the KJs, Akash was the top scorer with 14 points
The winners and the runners up were awarded cash prizes and trophies, The third and fourth placed teams, YMCA Knights and Spacers were awarded Rs 2000/- each.
