GOA INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL MART - GITM is an innovative cost effective strategy to boost your business in the Goan market and a unique opportunity to meet Goa’s complete travel and tourism trade. This B2B trade fair is jointly organized by the Department of Tourism - Government of Goa and the Goa Tourism Development Corporation. And is supported by Goa's travel trade industry. GITM was organized for the first time in 2010, with over 1400 trade visitors. The 80 exhibitors were pleased with the response and all the stakeholders appreciated the event as a step in the right direction.
This year we intend to grow the event and have already started the work of approaching travel agents and tour operators from international destinations and other cities of India to invite them to visit the mart. An aggressive marketing strategy will ensure over 2500 trade visitors to this year's event, of which we plan to host 450 prospective buyers.
While promoting of Goa's tourism industry will remain the focus of the mart. We have also invited other Tourism boards both national and international to participate at the event. Consumer will also be invited to visit the mart beyond business hours |
