Commonwealth torch enters Goa Sept 7 2010-09-04The Commonwealth Games will start on schedule. The Commonwealth Games (CWG) baton / torch relay will be arriving Goa on September 7 at Canacona from Karnataka. It will exit Goa on September 8 through Patradevi into Maharashtra.
While there is a general terror alert in the country, Goa police say there is nothing to worry about because complete security will be given to the runners.
Goa Police have however warned the Sarvajanik mandals to take maximum protection in view of the terror threat.
