Revoke all wildlife clearances given to mining within 10 km of sanctuary boundary

17, Sep 2012

[CLAUDE ALVARES] For all those who are worried about Goa's wildlife and keeping it safe from miners wild about their profits, the action before the Chief Wildlife Warden is on Tuesday September 18, at 4.00 pm.

The office is next to Junta House, (old passport office) or Gomant Maratha Samaj bldg, ground floor.

We are demanding the Chief Wildlife Warden revoke wildlife clearances granted for mining within 10 km of boundaries of wildlife sanctuaries and national park. No further notice. Be there. Make hell with rattle and roll. Spread the word on Titter and Twitter and all faceless books and networks.
