The Entertainment Society of Goa is conducting screenings for the Goa Cinephile Members at Maquinez Palace.
This week’s screenings are the critically acclaimed films “CHOOD (SODDEM)” Directed by Sajeev Pazhoor, “BUREAUCRACY SONATA (RAAG SARKARI)” Directed by Vinay Shukla and “PAPER PLANES ” Directed by Neha Singh will be screened at Maquinez Palace, Auditorium II at 6:30pm, on 3rd February 2012.
Goa Cinephile Members are cordially invited for the screening of this thought-provoking film. Non members can also attend the screening on payment of Rs.50/- on the spot.

Murugan associates himself with his friend in the murder of a girl for a gold chain, which haunts him in the form of fear at first and then as stinking sweat. He is wounded within for being party to a crime and struggles to understand that it is beyond redemption.. The burden of this sin spreads to his wife, daughter and friend Natarajan.
BUREAUCRACY SONATA (RAAG SARKARI)

Bureaucracy Sonata is a satire on the inner workings of the government during a period of political crisis. The film is set in and based on true stories from the emergency era (1975-77) in India, often described as the time interval which split Mrs. Indira Gandhi's political career into two halves, pre & post. It closely explores the life of a jailer in the face of a calamity.

Paper planes is a film about a young man who lives alone in a big city and works in a 9 to 5 job. However, he lets out his musical aspirations’ by writing a song on an electricity bill, makes a paper plane out of it and files it. His dreams come true when his musician friends find the plane and turn his words into a song.
